I was fairly certain that Dan was ready to propose so I was pretty sure he wasn’t going to be able to surprise me. Dan and I got to know each other better (mainly because he was from Minnesota and I had never met anyone from there before and was fascinated – hah!) and the rest is history. I met up with her there and proceed to meet many of her coworkers, including Dan! A group of us went to a bar after the event and I had such a great time, I started hanging out with them more. Here is this adorable couple’s story of how they met and fell in love straight from the bride’s mouth!: “My close friend invited me to an event that her PR firm was hosting in Bryant Park. After photo time, these two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with the New York City skyline as the backdrop. The third floor is where most portraits take place! This dramatic backdrop was the perfect setting for Jordyn and Dan’d first look. There are 4 floors of this fabulous old building: the second and fourth being the most popular as ceremony spaces. Jordyn got ready with a close group of friends in a small hotel before traveling to Long Island City’s Metropolitan Building. The buffet style dinner and dancing was all done in that very room! All events were inside on this blustery winter New York day and the two did a first look to make sure they had ample time to mingle with guests during cocktail hour! The second guests arrived before the ceremony, they checked their coats and were served warm or cold beverages. Their focus on guest experience was unparalleled to any other wedding I have been to. Jordyn and Dan know how to plan a wedding.
